The weapon used for the practice of Damnjanovic Fencing System is the sabre, identical to the one used in sport fencing. For the practice of cutting and for the prearranged forms is used the real weapon – infantry or cavalry saber. For the practice of advanced forms in which the saber is opposed to the rifle with bayonet, the wooden replica of that weapon is used (140 cm long).

The protective equipment that includes mask, fencing jacket and the glove is the same as in sport fencing. The clothes used in Damnjanovic Fencing System are black military type of trousers, black T shirt and sports shoes (any kind or colour). The colour of clothes for training does not represent the rank – all practitioners use the same equipment and clothes.
