The 21st of July, 2007, Dejan Damnjanovic was a guest of Federazione Italiana Scherma Antica e Storica and its technical director and founder, Mr Andrea Lupo Sinclair, for a seminar in Milano. The seminar was formulated as a cross-training of Giuseppe Radaelli's northern-Italian sabre system, as well as of Damnjanovic Fencing System. In the first part of the seminar, Maestro Sinclair explained the basics of Radaelli sabre. In the second part of the seminar, Dejan Damnjanovic explained to the FISAS members the fundamentals of Damnjanovic Fencing System with the references to the military sabre technique of the Kingdom of Serbia from the second half of XIX century. At the end of the seminar, Dejan Damnjanovic presented Maestro Sinclair a honorary rank of master of Damnjanovic Fencing System.
After the seminar, Dejan Damnjanovic was a guest of Mr Sinclair and FISAS members from Milano and Venezia on an excellent dinner in Monza. The discussion about fencing and related topics lasted till late in the night. We would like to use this opportunity to thank Maestro Sinclair and other FISAS fencers for their hospitality.
